Cinha Jardim was on the program ‘Bom dia Alegria’, on V+TVI, talking to Merche Romero and Zé Lopes. Alongside psychologist Fernando Mesquita and singer Lean Cruz, the socialite addressed the theme “relationships”, one that marked Singles’ Day.
Since she lived for 17 years with Raúl Leitão, father of her two daughters Pimpinha and Isaurinha Jardim, the TVI commentator recalled what this lasting relationship was like and why it ended.
After admitting that she is currently single, Cinha Jardim then recalled: “I was married for 17 years to what we can almost say is the love of my life, Raúl, the father of my daughters, and I was very happy. I had an extraordinary life, he was extremely understanding (…). I loved my family life, I loved everything, I was always a family woman but it turns out that, here for us, we became a bit of brothers and therefore, when you become brothers you have to have that thing of letting the other person be happy and we look for another way”realized.
Cinha Jardim also recalled that, at the time, he moved from Porto to Lisbon, where he ended up finding happiness again: “I ended up living very happily and contentedly with my daughters alone, until another life option came to me and I chose that other life option and so then I lived for another 7 years with someone I was also very happy with.”.
In the end, and with a view to reflecting on the end of the relationship, Cinha Jardim said that she feels very single: “Whether it’s 7 or 17 years old, what matters is that we are well and if we have a personality like mine, I think we realize that we are not well living with someone else and that this is not my path here”realized. “Right now, I don’t want to! I don’t even give a small opening for anything to happen. I’ll tell you that my age group no longer allows me to be so light on these things but I also don’t want something serious, that thing that is you live for that person, it’s fine, you like to go out to lunch or dinner with that person and not in a group. I have a lot more fun in a group”these.
