Disney announced changes for December. Starting next month, channels ESPN will be available exclusively on Disney+ Premium. Sporting News explains what can be done to continue with access to sports channels.
From the 11th, the ESPN and ESPN3 channels will no longer be part of the Disney+ Standard plans with ads and Disney+ Standard. These two channels, which feature live broadcasts of competitions such as the Champions League, NBA, NFL, tennis, baseball and UFC, will only be available to those who subscribe to Disney+ Premium.
– These plans will only include limited access to select sports content. If you want to continue with access to all sports content, you can always change your plan to Disney+ Premium – the company announced.
It is possible to upgrade to the new plan and have other benefits, such as: full access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu content. In addition to simultaneous transmission of four screens at the same time and resolution of up to 4K UHD and HDR.
How to subscribe to Disney+ Premium
The plan Premium costs R$66.90 per month and includes all ESPN channels, exclusive tournaments and more than 500 sporting events per month. In addition, it offers films and series without commercial breaks, film premieres, original series and classics from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star, video in up to 4K UHD/HDR with Dolby Atmos sound, use on up to four simultaneous devices and downloads to watch content offline.
