At least 173 flights were canceled in Chile after LATAM Airlines pilots went on strike on Wednesday. The airline itself informed about it. The outage of flights affected up to 20,000 passengers. TASR writes about it according to a Reuters report.
The Santiago-based airline said a solution had been provided to almost all affected passengers. As a result of the strike, which began at midnight following failed contract negotiations with the carrier, the company said in a statement that had to cancel flights scheduled for the period from November 12 to 17.
