Sinner x Zverev: how they arrive

They both won in their debut: Sinner beat Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, eighth in the world rankings, while Zverev defeated North American Ben Shelton, number 5 in the world.

In the history of clashes, the Italian has a 5-4 advantage over the German and won the three duels between them in 2025 — the final of the Australian Open, the decision of the ATP 500 in Vienna and the semifinal of the Masters 1000 in Paris.

Current Finals champion, Sinner occupies 2nd place in the ATP rankings, behind Carlos Alcaraz, while Zverev appears in 3rd. Each victory in the group stage is worth 200 points, and the Italian needs to win the title and hope that Alcaraz does not reach the final to regain the lead. Serbian Novak Djokovic, 4th in the rankings, was left out of the tournament because of a shoulder injury.

ATP Ends 2025: participants and dates

The ATP Finals brings together the eight best tennis players of the season, divided into two groups. In the Jimmy Connors Group are Carlos Alcaraz (ESP), Taylor Fritz (USA), Alex de Minaur (AUS) and Lorenzo Musetti (ITA), who inherited the place left by Djokovic. The Bjorn Borg Group includes Jannik Sinner (ITA), Alexander Zverev (ALE), Ben Shelton (USA) and Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN).

The group stage runs until Friday (11/14). The best two from each group will advance to the semi-finals, on Saturday (11/15), and the final is scheduled for Sunday (11/16), also at the Inalpi Arena, in Turin.
