Young Davi Costa Oliveira, aged 21, was shot during a criminal attack that took place on Tuesday night (11), on Rua Durval Camilo, Canaã neighborhood, in the Second District region of Rio Branco.
According to information from the Military Police, the victim was walking along the road when he was surprised by two men on a motorcycle. The armed rider fired around five shots at the young man. One of the shots hit Davi’s abdomen, transfixing him and hitting internal organs. Even though he was injured, he managed to run and call for help.

After the attack, the criminals fled the scene without being identified. Friends of the victim helped him and took him to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) of the Second District. Due to the severity of the injury, it was necessary to call an advanced support ambulance from Samu, which transferred him to the Rio Branco Emergency Room, where Davi was admitted in a stable state of health.
Police officers from the 2nd Battalion of the PM were at the scene of the crime, collected information and carried out searches in the region, but no one has been arrested so far.
The case will be investigated by the Civil Police’s Ready Employment Team (EPE) and forwarded to the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Station (DHPP), which will continue the investigations to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
