A well-known Slovak bodybuilder fell to rock bottom, Vémola lends him a helping hand: He and his wife slept on the ground in the park!

Saturday night on TV JOJ will once again be extremely popular with the audience the show In Seventh Heaven. It will appear on the screen this year for the fifth and last time. The central character of the episode will be a man who was talked about as the greatest talent in Slovak bodybuilding. And about his body as a miracle of nature – bodybuilder Adam Cibuľa.

Karlos Terminator Vémola will also play a key role, who will give Adam a helping hand. In the times when Adam’s star was shining, Karlos closely followed his achievements. Currently, Adam is Karlos’s big fan.

“Seventh Heaven doesn’t do things that don’t make sense. The stories make sense. I’ve been registering Adam Cibula since the days when I followed bodybuilding. Everything these guys did back in the day was endearing to me. I would like him to turn his life around. It’s a shame that Seventh Heaven doesn’t know how to help more people, because those stories are great and you can’t say no to that,” revealed Vémola.

Adam Cibuľa was able to use his talent and disposition appropriately in the past. He is a multiple champion of Slovakia, a five-time European champion and a two-time bronze medalist at the World Championships. The biggest opponent in his career was alcohol, which dragged him to the bottom.

Today he lives without water, gas and electricity in a devastated house near the railway station in Hnúšt. Adam only sleeps in the house. During the day, he stays in the city, especially in the park. There were times when he and his second wife Marta spent the night in the park. On the bare ground, without a blanket, about hunger and thirst.

Alcohol was behind the downfall of a successful athlete. In 1996, Cibuľa was supposed to travel to the world championship in Jordan, where he was among the favorites. But he never boarded the bus. “I met my friends and we ended up in a buffet,” he admitted. A disqualification followed, and although he returned two years later to win silver, his drinking problems haunted him.

He fell to rock bottom after the breakup of his first marriage nine years ago. Today, he chokes that he has been honestly abstinent for a long time, and his only dream and ambition is to return to the top European bodybuilders. “I’m 61 years old, nobody wants to take me to work anymore. I just want another chance. I want to work and exercise. But it’s not possible on the street…” stated.

Coach Dušan Ďubek, who has been training with Adam since the beginning of the nineties, wrote the show In seventh heaven. For several weeks now, he has been cutting Onion in the gym with Ďubek and is planning his triumphant return. An extremely important character in this story is the aforementioned Czech MMA fighter Karlos Terminator Vémola. He will literally offer Adam Cibuľ a new chance at life. Thanks to him, the bodybuilder will have a place to live, start training again and prepare for an international competition. It will become an inexhaustible motivation for him.

“Because I’m younger, I’m not the one to give Adam advice. But I say it all the time— if he wants to make a change in his life, he must know why. He himself must know why he does it. He has to find that reason. We all have different reasons for doing different things in life. I can see he wants it. I can see him making the change, but he needs to know why. And only he knows the answer to that question,” said Karlos Vémola about Cibuľ, who has a clear message for people who have found themselves at the bottom.

“It’s not over until it’s really over. People should not lose hope. Just the fact that they lose hope is a problem. Every day is a new day, what happened yesterday, one does not have to count. I live in the present, not in the past. You will not succeed in many things in life, but every day is a new day, a new start, a new chance for all of us,” says the successful athlete.

What dreams will Seventh Heaven fulfill for Adam Cibuľ and what challenge will he overcome in the coming months? You can watch it on Saturday at 20:40 on TV JOJ.
