According to the coalition agreement, co-chairman of the New Left and deputy speaker of the Sejm, Wlodzimierz Czarzasty, was to take over the office of chairman from Thursday.
Election of a new chairman
However, both politicians agreed that the election of a new chairman will take place only at the next session of the lower house next week. Until his election, the leadership of the parliament will function in its current composition.
