TV director used his social networks to refute the statements and reaffirm his role as a father
spoke out this Tuesday (11) after being criticized by his ex-wife, who called him a “terrible father” in an interview with the influencer Blogueirinha’s program. The socialite accused the director of being distant from their daughter, Marianna, 38, and of not showing affection or support at important moments in the young woman’s life. In response, Boninho used his social networks to refute the statements and reaffirm his role as a father. “I have always been and will always be here for each of my children. And they know that”, he stated, highlighting that he is present in the lives of his three children: Marianna, Pedro and Isabella.
The TV director also criticized the public exposure of the case, classifying it as unnecessary and harmful. “All this exposure, so unnecessary, ends up generating consequences and becoming painful for everyone involved”, wrote Boninho. He also asked for respect for what he considers an unfair situation, and condemned the tone of the interview. “I ask for respect given the levity of what was said. I would never do something like that to anyone”, he added.
Boninho concluded his statement by reaffirming his desire to preserve his family’s privacy and maintain peace of mind. “I remain calm and at peace. And I hope that everyone can continue like this too”, he declared. Narcisa’s accusations include episodes that, according to her, highlight the distance between Boninho and Marianna. The socialite reported that, recently, the director was unable to help his daughter when her car broke down, in addition to not showing support when she was accepted into Kings College University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. “He didn’t pay homage when she entered, nor did he care,” said Narcisa. “He’s a terrible father, an absent father, who doesn’t give her love. He only likes his other daughter, Isabella”, he accused.
Boninho and Narcisa were married between 1983 and 1986 and have a daughter, Marianna, the result of this union. The director is also the father of Pedro Oliveira, 30, from a previous relationship with Kátia D’Ávila, and Isabella, 18, from his current marriage to presenter Ana Furtado.
