Chadwick Boseman, the “Black Panther”, receives a star on the Walk of Fame

The actor Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020), will receive a posthumous star in Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 20th. At the event, according to Billboard, they will participate Ryan Coogler, director of “Black Panther“, a film starring the actor, and Viola Daviswho starred in the last production of Boseman’s career, “The Supreme Voice of the Blues“.

The actor’s death occurred on August 28, 2020, as a result of colorectal cancer that he had been treating since 2016. It caught fans off guard, as Boseman had never revealed that he lived with the disease.

The Star is located at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard, across from the Hollywood Experience. The event will be broadcast live on the Walk of Fame. Chadwick’s wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will receive the honor on her husband’s behalf.

The event’s master of ceremonies will be Steve Nissen, CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, responsible for managing the Los Angeles Walk of Fame and handing out stars.
