E-REDES guarantees that its teams are “under permanent surveillance and mobilized on the ground” to quickly resolve the situation.

On Sunday, several areas of mainland Portugal will face a new “blackout” — this time, not unexpected, but programmed by E-REDES, it announced in its website.

The “temporary interruption” scheduled for November 16th is planned for the municipalities of Coimbra, Lisbon, Loulé and Sintra. The cuts will take place during the night and morning.

  • Coimbra: the interruption covers the Union of Parishes of Sé Nova, Santa Cruz, Almedina and São Bartolomeu, between 8:00 am and 11:30 am.
  • Algarve: the parish of Quarteira (municipality of Loulé) will have outages between 06:00 and 11:00 on several central streets.
  • Lisboa: The interventions will take place in Campolide, Lumiar and Marvila, with cuts scheduled between 5:00 am and 11:00 am.
  • Sintra: the Union of Parishes of São João das Lampas and Terrugem will be affected between 05:00 and 11:00.

The company reinforces that the work will be carried out in a controlled manner and with the aim of reducing the impact on consumers to a minimum.

Claudia leaves Setúbal in red

The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) recorded 86 incidents between 00:00 and 06:00 today related to heavy rain due to Claudia depressionespecially floods.
