The legendary Slovak group Elán announces its return to the amphitheater in Východná after 9 years. to perform an extraordinary concert Elán & Kamaráti – End of Summer there on Saturday, August 29, 2026. After the extraordinary success of the “Elan 70 – The Celebrations Continue” tour, the group decided to add one more open-air concert, which will have historical significance.
Elán & Kamaráti is a unique combination of current and former members of the band, who together will create an unforgettable evening full of musical icons, friendship and emotions. Fans can look forward to a cross-section of the golden decades of Élan – hits that have shaped entire generations will be played on one stage: Water, what keeps me above water, Neglected sex, Láska moja and others. The surprise of the evening will also be songs that the band does not normally include in their concert setlists.
At Elán’s official meeting with the media about the concert, but also news and memories Elána leader Jožo Ráž talked more with musician Teri Čikoš. The group has been operating for decades and Slovaks love it. Their concerts are never missed and sell out. The departure of a long-time friend and member of Vaša Patejdl affected the group and the entire music world. However, his legacy lives on.
“He was, is and always will be a part of this band. He is still mentally with us. And I know that one day we will meet and play together again. He was an abnormally good musician. A freaking pro. He was the craftsman of that music, he knew everything, every single note knew where it belonged, what and how. So, the music was made very well with him, because he knew what to say to whom, what to play.” said Ráž.
