How a change in the law threatens the free cultural scene

Here a day of rehearsals, there a film shoot, here a series of performances at the theater. Then another break without orders. The everyday working life of many freelance cultural workers is not uniform. A mixture of short engagements and project-related activities is not an exception, but often the rule, especially in the field of theater or film. There are fewer and fewer permanent positions, even in large institutions, and many artists and cultural workers are barely keeping their heads above water thanks to (often small) additional income and payments from the employment service (AMS). An already precarious system could soon become even more precarious.
