Junts confirms that it will support the customer service law: “Let no one make a mistake. It will not be approved because nothing has changed”

Junts will vote this Thursday in favor of the law that regulates customer service services, which requires the service to be provided in the co-official languages in the communities where they exist, as confirmed by Josep Maria Cruset in his intervention in the debate in the plenary session of Congress that precedes the vote.

“But let no one make a mistake. This law will not be approved because nothing has changed since the day we presented the amendments in their entirety, quite the opposite. The days that have passed have proven us right conclusively,” he said from the rostrum. “We will vote in favor of it, because it is one of the few laws in which the agreement we have together has been respected. Therefore, once our proposals have been incorporated, taking into account that they are positive and necessary for the Catalans, we will fulfill our part of the agreement. After this, you will only have four laws left. Enjoy what you have achieved with your irresponsibility,” he added.

For Cruset, this law “has been an example of the arithmetic precariousness of the government bloc, a bloc that has prohibited clear amendments due to its lack of negotiating capacity and, above all, for not understanding that the Government does not have the absolute majority it thinks it has.”

“Without an absolute majority, negotiations must be made. Agreements must emerge from negotiations and agreements must be fulfilled. This is the essence of democracy and if it is not respected, everyone already knows what happens, you can hold on to power, but you cannot govern,” he insisted.
