At the outset, let’s admit that it is rather a well-thought-out marketing move, on the other hand, we must not condemn it so quickly. It is logical that there are no foods that directly reach out their imaginary hands to the calories stored in our bodies to suck them out of us. So how is it really?

More energy for digestion than that gained
We talk about foods with a negative calorie content in connection with the energy balance of low-calorie foods. Although, of course, every food contains some calories, there are also on whosedigestion, the body consumes more energy than it gains by breaking them down. And that is precisely the balance on which we can already rely.
A pleasant “weight loss” deficit
When we eat any food, the body has to spend a certain amount of energy on its decomposition, absorption and storage. This is a process known as the thermic effect of food, and the body uses a certain amount of calories for it. But if it is the caloric value of the given food is lower than the amount necessary to spend on its processing, which the organism must cover from its own reserves. Isn’t it amazing? The more we eat, the more the body has to invest of its own.

Vegetable lovers can confidently stick to celery which (even if it doesn’t look like it) it contains ninety-five percent water, and the fiber in it is a very tough nut for decaying bacteria. To cucumbers, on the other hand, win mainly due to their water contentalthough they cannot boast of such a large proportion of fiber. We must not forget either leafy and cruciferous vegetables. Definitely from your menu don’t miss the spinach, salad, not even broccoli. Their caloric value is very low, but they provide a massive supply of vitamins and minerals, which are necessary in any attempt to lose weight.
Citrus is delicious
But a person cannot always consume only vegetables, so we can look for suitable fruits. Citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, lemons and limes, will do a very good jobwhich, in addition to the low calorie content, supplies the organism vitamin C. Despite their sweetness, they are strawberries and melons are also suitable items for weight losswhich will help with body hydration and saturation without large supplies of unnecessary energy.
It won’t work without energy
Although it is certainly a beautiful idea that we would eat something all the time and at the same time lose weight without a break, it is necessary to realize that only such foods will definitely not lead to a healthy and balanced lifestylewhat the body needs. Therefore, let us consider and balance, let’s also not forget proteins, healthy fats and a little complex carbohydrates here and there. Tormenting the body with only vegetables and fruits with a negative energy balance would soon take its toll on us. As helpers in the effort to return to the desired figure, the aforementioned delicacies are good helpers.
