In a clash valid for the semi-final of the African playoff for the 2026 World Cup, Nigeria and Gabon take the field this Thursday (13), at 1pm (Brasília time).
The match will be held at the Moulay Hassan Stadium, in the city of Rabat, Morocco, and will be broadcast live on Fifa+ (streaming).
The team is led by Malian coach Éric Chelle, while Thierry Mouyouma has led the team since 2023.
Both countries are seeking to reach a decision in the dispute, where they will face the winner of the duel between Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Nigerians want to qualify for their seventh World Cup, while the Gabonese dream of playing in the tournament for the first time in history.
The winner of the African play-off, where two more nations will be added to the group of 48 teams that will compete in the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
