The Portimão Hotel and Tourism School (EHT Portimão) will mark World Wine Tourism Day with the 1st edition of ENOFEST, an event dedicated to wine, gastronomy and regional products from the Algarve, scheduled for November 25th. The initiative aims to bring together producers, chefs, sommeliers, experts and students to enhance the region’s gastronomic identity.
During the event, visitors will be able to participate in commented tastings, try gastronomic creations, watch demonstrations and take part in moments of sharing and learning. EHT Portimão students will have a prominent role, applying skills acquired in training and demonstrating the work carried out by the school at the level of initial and continuing training.
Pedro Moreira, director of EHT Portimão, highlights that “ENOFEST is a celebration of the Algarve in its purest form and aims to reinforce the joint commitment to valuing products, knowledge and regional identity. It is proof that tradition and innovation can be served at the same table, a practice that we cultivate daily in our training and with our students.”
ENOFEST is organized in partnership with several public and private entities, including the municipal councils of Aljezur, Lagoa, Lagos, Monchique, Portimão and Silves, the Algarve Wine Commission (CVA) and the Poeta António Aleixo School Group.
Entry is free, although some activities require prior registration and have a limited number of participants.
Registration must be completed.
