Former striker Ronaldo Fenômeno revealed what he thinks about Neymar. The star has been the target of criticism in recent days, and the Santos captain’s presence in the next World Cup defending the Brazilian team is still uncertain.
In an interview given during the “Galactic Auction”, he did not hide his support for Neymar to be in,
“It’s up to him to overcome himself and shut up the many people who don’t believe. Ney is a sensational boy, he’s the Brazilian’s hope, and we’re going to root for him a lot”, declared the former player.
Neymar’s troubled moment
has been the target of demands from fans and the press in recent days. The Santos star was negatively marked by his posture during the defeat to Flamengo, last Sunday (9).
During the match at Maracanã, number 10 had some moments of dissatisfaction with his teammates and the refereeing. Furthermore, he complained to the coach about being substituted at the end of the second half.
Since returning to Brazilian football, Neymar has been unable to achieve a positive streak. The attacking midfielder suffered from injuries and was constantly absent. There are only 23 games, with six goals and three assists in the season.

Neymar is still not a guarantee in the next World Cup. Since Italian Carlo Ancelotti took charge, the Santos attacking midfielder has not been called up.
