Orlando (Florida)/Vienna – The 25-year-old Austrian who has been in custody in Florida since May 2024 after having sex with an American teenager will have to stand trial there next year. A spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry confirmed this in response to an APA request. “The evidentiary process has not yet been completed,” said the spokeswoman. An exact date is therefore not available, it was said. According to APA information, the man has been charged with several counts since at least October 2024.
