Agribusiness exports break record in October and total US$ 15.5 billion

In October, Brazilian agribusiness exports totaled US$15.49 billion. This is the highest value ever recorded for the month in the historical series. The result represents growth of 8.5% compared to the same period in 2024.

In the month, imports of agricultural products totaled US$ 1.79 billion. In this way, a surplus of approximately US$ 13.7 billion was recorded.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the performance was supported by the 10.1% increase in volume shipped, in a scenario of a 1.4% decline in average international prices.

From January to October, agribusiness recorded a surplus of US$124.97 billion, slightly above that recorded in the same period last year. The volume is the result of US$ 141.97 billion in exports and US$ 17 billion in imports.
