This Thursday, the National Monetary Council approved an expansion of the scope of emergency credit lines intended for companies impacted by tariffs imposed by the United States on Brazilian products.
With the new rule, suppliers of exporting companies will also be eligible for financing. The rule that linked the company’s right to credit to the percentage of revenue from exports was also relaxed.
The CMN is made up of the president of the BC, Gabriel Galípolo, the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, and the Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet.
