The House Oversight Committee released more on Wednesday (Nov. 13). which a panel led by American Republicans obtained from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein († 66) – a convicted sex offender whose suicide drew intense attention from the influential people he knew. Among them was the current US President Donald Trump (79), reports .

writes that the name of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajčák (62) should also have appeared in Epstein’s declassified e-mails. The screenshots show that they were supposed to exchange messages even at a time when Slovakia was going through a turbulent period after the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancee. According to the header, they should have been sent from the official ministerial email.

In March 2018, Epstein should have sent Lajčák a link to an article about how close Donald Trump is to a mental breakdown. The Slovak diplomat should have written back to him that he had already heard enough about this topic that day. Epstein should have responded that he agreed with him. The diplomat’s name also appears in an e-mail that Epstein exchanged with Steve Bannon in 2018.

To the former Trump’s adviser had to write about Lajčák as “President of the UN” who could lead the “European project” if he wanted to, and also mentioned that “his government will fall this week – according to plan”. He mentions Lajčák’s name in one more report.

As the portal further states, in an e-mail from November 2018, Lajčák should have confided in Epstein about his domestic political situation. He writes that despite the pressure, he is calm and feels supported. “I’m surprisingly calm. I feel like I’m doing the right thing. And people’s reaction is very strong and positive,” he wrote. In response, Epstein expresses his understanding and offers a specific line of communication. “I’m not surprised. I think your position is fair. It’s an explanation that needs fine-tuning,” according to the released documents.

According to the e-mail, he advises that the country wants to appear strong and that not participating in a certain event (which is not named in the text) can have the opposite effect. In the following message, Epstein formulates a possible password that the Slovak minister could also use publicly: “Slovaks do not run and hide. We will stand up straight and say… We do not agree. Or not yet. Or that Slovakia must decide what is good for it,” he should have added.

In a report from November 20, Lajčák describes to Epstein the situation surrounding the document labeled as the Migration compact “Today I said that if Slovakia withdraws from the Migration compact, I will consider resigning. It’s big news in all the media. And it can really happen. I may have to do this to protect my professional and personal integrity,” stated.

In another message, Epstein asks, “Is the prime minister still on your side?” and immediately adds the question: “Do I understand correctly that it is you versus Parliament?” The e-mails thus indicate that at the time of the dispute over the Migration compact, Lajčák should have been in direct contact with Epstein and consulted with him on how to explain his position. supplied by Startitup.

After publishing this information, the head of the SNS Andrej Danko (51) v said that their communication is “interesting” and according to him, it fits into the situation before the presidential elections in 2019. “He mysteriously decided not to run. And we all probably know he was the number one candidate for president at that time,” he said.
