Warsaw – Paradiso
If you haven’t managed to visit the Paradiso restaurant in Warsaw yet, you definitely need to do so! This is where nightlife meets original international cuisine. The RestaurantWeek® festival menu offers two sets full of intense flavors and creative combinations. In Menu A, the appetizer is beef tenderloin tartare with toast, delicate beef tenderloin, bolete mushrooms, soy sauce, chives and a hint of sambal. The main course is pork tonkatsu served on sweet potato puree with padron peppers and aromatic tonkatsu sauce, and for dessert, creamy cheesecake with passion fruit sauce. Menu B starts with Asian guacamole – avocado with red onion, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, unagi sauce, soy sauce and sambal. Then pad thai with tofu and vegetables is served – traditional rice noodles with zucchini, peppers, carrots and eggs, finished with coriander, chives and crunchy peanuts. Dessert is an intensely chocolate brownie with cherry sauce. Can it get any better?
Białystok – Skorka Bistro Wino
There are restaurants that delight with their taste and to which you want to come back – such is Skórka Bistro Wino at ul. Włókiennicza 3 in the capital of Podlasie. This is a place where the menu changes with the seasons, and the plate is always filled with fresh, seasonal ingredients in original interpretations. A menu full of unique flavors has been created especially for RestaurantWeek®. The proposals include: duck breast with Jerusalem artichoke purée and halva with caramelized carrots, as well as halibut with saffron sauce, wild broccoli and dill powder. For dessert
lavender pulp cake with cream ice cream and crumble or cream pudding with miso-toffee and raspberry sesame seeds are served. Insanity – this is one word to sum up the culinary experience at Skorka Bistro Wino!
Bydgoszcz – View
And now, as recommended by Foodies, we are moving to ul. Konna 10, to a place that delights not only with its view, but above all with its refined cuisine. Vidok is a restaurant where each meal becomes a small work of art – full of aromas, colors and surprising combinations. Here, classic culinary techniques meet modern fantasy, and the result is dishes that you will remember long after you leave. Chef has prepared two unique proposals especially for the Festival. Menu A begins with an intensely flavored mushroom and goose broth with ossobuco ravioli, served with tomato chutney and fried shimeji. The main course is risotto with pulled duck, red cabbage purée, edamame and beetroot powder. Dessert is a sophisticated crème brûlée with sea buckthorn flavor, enriched with currant sorbet and cigarillo cake. Menu B is a play of flavors and textures: butternut squash carpaccio with gorgonzola and parsley crisp, delicate crimson with shellfish emulsion and Hasselback potatoes, and finally subtle Sea Buckthorn Curd with Italian meringue and a lemon accent.
Szczecin – Bellevue
It’s time for an excellent recommendation from Foodies – Bellevue! This is a restaurant located at ul. 3 Maja 22 in Szczecin, where each dish is a little French adventure: from creamy soups and aromatic meats, to dessert proposals delighting with their taste and appearance. Bellevue combines elegance with the pleasure of eating, creating an experience you want to return to. Festival proposals include French onion soup with raclette cheese toast, Mulard duck fillet with beetroot galette, creamy potato purée, apple confit and port sauce, and the classic tarte au citron made of shortcrust pastry with lemon cream. Alternatively, you can try smoked salmon rillettes on a crispy baguette with pickles, sea bream with Provençal ratatouille, ash-baked potato and parsley pistou, and crème caramel with Maldon salt. Sounds good, right?
Silesia – Dębowa
In Bielsko-Biała, at Aleja Armii Krajowej 220, Dębowa Restaurant invites you to a culinary journey where European cuisine is combined with mountain inspirations. Stylish interiors and a friendly atmosphere make it an ideal place for meetings with family, friends or a quiet evening in good company. Menu A delights with duck rillettes with pickled zucchini, baked apple purée and toasted bread, grapeshot with beef cheeks in mushroom demi-glace with pickled onion and chives, and a chocolate brownie with coffee chantilly, cherries flambéed with cherry brandy and a scoop of dried fruit ice cream. Alternatively, you can eat capers in white wine with rösti and mature cheese, baked salmon with tabbouleh salad with thyme sauce, and again a chocolate brownie.
