The musician from São Paulo jota.fe, 32, achieved an impressive milestone at the Latin Grammys: the musician remains undefeated at the awards, winning the gramophone for all the nominations he has had.
When competing for the first time in the 2024 edition, Jota was nominated and won in three categories, being Best Recording Engineering Album e Best Brazilian Popular Music/Afro Portuguese Album for his second studio album “Se o Meu Peito Fosse o Mundo” and Best Song in Portuguese Language by “Brown Gold”.
Already this year, he had a single nomination as Best Roots Music Album in Portuguese Languagewhich he also took. This time, he won with his musical project “Dominguinho”, and Mestrinho. Resulting in four awards along the way.
At the 26th edition of the Latin Grammys, the biggest winners of the night were the duo Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso and the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny, with five awards each.
