Even on Friday, fog may form in the morning and afternoon in the entire territory of Slovakia. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) drew attention to this on its website, which issued first level warnings for all districts.

The warnings will tentatively remain in effect until 10:00 a.m. In the districts of Spišská Nová Ves, Kežmarok, Levoča, Poprad, Sabinov and Stará Ľubovňa until 12:00 p.m. Visibility may drop to 50 to 200 meters in places.
“Reduced visibility is a potential hazard for traffic activities. The occurrence of fog with the specified visibility is common at the given time of year and area, but can cause damage of a smaller scale“, the meteorologists said.
