Turkish President Erdoğan wants a two-state solution for Cyprus


Ankara – The Cyprus conflict, which has been unresolved for over 50 years, should be ended by the formation of two independent states according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This is the most realistic way to overcome the political blockade on the divided Mediterranean island, he said on Thursday in Ankara alongside the newly elected Turkish Cypriot President Tufan Erhurman.
