Videos circulating on social media show the damage left on BR-364 after the collision and overturning of two trucks loaded with oxen that were involved in a serious accident on Wednesday night (13), in the stretch between Rio Branco and Sena Madureira. Some animals died during the impact, while others were displaced along the highway. There are records of injured people.
The images reveal the highway completely covered by overturned vehicles, mud and debris scattered across the road, the result of heavy rain at the time of the collision. The situation led to the total closure of the road, generating long queues and preventing the flow of vehicles in both directions.

Teams were mobilized to remove the trailers and free BR, but the service continues to be hampered by weather conditions and the weight of the load. Drivers who need to travel along the stretch must wait for official guidance or look for alternative routes.
BR-364 is the main connection between the capital and the interior of Acre, and the blockage directly affects those heading to Sena Madureira and other municipalities in the region.
