US President Donald Trump said he does not believe that further tariff reductions will be necessary, in comments to journalists aboard Air Force One this Friday, the 14th, en route to Palm Beach, Florida. According to him, the administration will make “a lot of money” from the tariffs.
Without providing further details, the Republican said that the Chinese will buy a lot of American soybeans and that senior US officials spoke with Chinese representatives this Friday.
Regarding tariff-exempt products, in an announcement made late in the afternoon, Trump claimed that they are not competitive in American territory and, for this reason, there is no industry to be protected. “What we are going to do is make prices fall even further,” he added.

Trump once again said that the country has low inflation and classified Obamacare as a “disaster”. “We are going to give money to people to buy their own health plans,” he said.
Outside the economic sphere, the Republican said he expects Saudi Arabia to sign the Abraham Accords, which normalize Israel’s relations with other countries in the region, and said he is analyzing the Saudi request to buy American fighter jets. On nuclear weapons, he said the US, as well as other countries, will conduct tests since they have them.
He also stated that he will take legal action against the BBC next week and has not yet spoken to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer about the situation, but will call the UK leader over the weekend.
Asked about his health, the American president said he had an MRI exam this year “for his physique”, but that the result was great. “I don’t know what they analyzed in my MRI, but the doctor said it was the best result,” he added.
