Acreian Junior Nascimento had a scare last Friday afternoon (15) while recording images on the banks of the Acre River. During the work, he observed the large accumulation of rafts that formed under one of the bridges when he ended up being hit and fell, getting stuck on the branches that accumulated in the place.

At the time of the fall, Junior believed he had lost his recording equipment, which disappeared among the rafters. Minutes later, a team from Deracre that was cleaning the river and removing accumulated material passed the point and noticed that the equipment was stuck between the branches.
One of the servers, walking cautiously through the tangle of wood, managed to reach and remove the equipment. To Junior’s surprise, all the material was returned intact, without any damage.
Relieved, he made a point of thanking the gesture and recorded the action:
“My heroes don’t wear capes, they’re from Deracre,” said Junior, moments before retrieving their equipment.
The servers refused any type of reward. Even so, Junior returned with R$100 as a form of spontaneous gratitude for the help he received.
The episode reinforces the daily work of Deracre teams, who work on cleaning and maintaining bridges and the Acre River to avoid disruptions and ensure greater safety for the population.
