A 9-month-old baby died this Friday morning (14/11), after being raped by her own father inside the house where the family lived, in Santo Antônio do Descoberto (GO), surrounding the Federal District.
At around 11am, the DF Military Police (PMDF) were called to the DF-180 by an app driver who was transporting the mother and child to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Samambaia (DF). The girl was in a very serious condition and, at the health unit, it was found that there were clear signs of sexual violence.

At the UPA, the medical team still tried to help the victim, but the girl could not resist her injuries and died. Multiple physical injuries were found on her body. The mother told the police that the baby’s father was the perpetrator of the attacks.
Based on this testimony, teams from the 11th and 8th battalions of the PMDF began searches, which led to the family’s residence, in the municipality of Goiás, where the crime probably occurred. In the house, police found bloody clothes, cell phones, a precision scale and traces of a substance similar to cocaine.
The site was preserved until the arrival of the Goiás Military Police (PMGO) and technical expertise to begin investigations.
The suspect was located and arrested in Ceilândia. The arrest was carried out jointly by police officers from the 11th and 10th Battalions of the PMDF.
