Use of peels in the home

“I usually threw the peels away or put them in the compost when we already had a garden,” says Andrea, “but then I found out that I can use them for a lot of things right at home. For example carrot peels are an absolutely excellent source of potassium, which is crucial for healthy plant growthand that their leaves have a healthy green color.” says Andrea. That’s why he adds carrot peels to flower pots.
