Vienna – Alexander Wrabetz was pleased with broad approval in his re-election as president of record football champions Rapid. The 65-year-old, who was elected for the second time after November 2022, received 92.47 percent of the 428 votes cast on Saturday at the annual general meeting of the second-placed team in the Bundesliga. The term of office that is now starting will extend over four years for the first time and will therefore run until November 2029.
