The headquarters of the French channel BFM TV in Paris has been evacuated for security reasonswhich has forced them to cut the suspension of their broadcasts while waiting for the Police, who are already present in the area, to verify what has happened, as several local newspapers such as ‘Le Parisien’ have been able to confirm.
“Our offices were evacuated following a security alert. The police are on site carrying out inspections. Our programming is temporarily interrupted on all RMC and BFM channels. Our teams are working to return to programming as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding,” the network reported on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter).
‘Le Parisien’ has spoken with police sources who have confirmed that the alert is a bomb threat and that there are bomb bombers at the headquarters of the 15th arrondissement of Paris. For now they have not offered more details on the matter.
