Just 2 teaspoons will save the dying Spathiphyllum. It will regain its green color and bloom
Spathiphyllum care may not be complicated, as it only requires adequate hydration and sunlight. Spathiphyllum has been one of the most popular potted plants in Polish homes for many years. And this fact does not surprise anyone, because it is a fantastic decoration of the room. The beautiful white flower is surrounded by dense green leaves. Moreover, the Spathiphyllum is also known for its air-purifying properties, which is especially useful in the autumn and winter. Although it is not a plant that requires care, it sometimes dies for unknown reasons. Then we wonder what to do to save the dying Spathiphyllum. In such a situation, I use one that I prepare with two ingredients. I dissolve two teaspoons of sugar in one liter of water, mix it, and when it cools down, I water the potted plant with it. Use this Spathiphyllum fertilizer once a month, and the plant will quickly bloom and start growing new leaves.
Spathiphyllum care. How to care for it so that it blooms and does not languish?
As I already mentioned, caring for the Spathiphyllum is not too complicated. All you need to do is follow a few simple rules regarding irrigation and the appropriate location to keep the Spathiphyllum green and blooming. Here they are:
- Place the plant in a place that is not very sunny (window sills are not suitable).
- Avoid places exposed to drafts, because the Spathiphyllum does not like them.
- Water it regularly – the soil should be moist, but not wet.
- Try to nourish it regularly.
