Michael Schumacher’s condition remains unchanged
It is the Schumachers who often resonate in the media because of Michael’s health condition, which in 2013 he suffered a serious head injury while skiing in France. Since then, the seven-time world champion has been dependent on continuous medical care at home.
Neurosurgeon Dr. Jussi Posti, who has been following the case of a well-known competitor for a long time. According to him available information suggests that Schumacher’s condition has not changed significantly over the past decade. “If a whole hospital facility is built in his house, it seems that he is in the same condition most of the time and does not lead a very active life,” he was quoted as saying.
She also spoke about her husband’s difficulties Corinna Schumacher in the Netflix documentary from 2021. She mentioned the last conversation before the accident and how the family lives with a difficult situation. “Of course I miss Michael every day. But I’m not alone – the kids, the family, everyone around us misses him.” she said.
In the documentary, their son Mick Schumacher recalled the day of the accident and how much he misses the moments together with his father, which would be experienced differently today as racers. “I would give anything for it. It would be something amazing,” he added. The engagement of David Schumacher thus brought at least a little joy to the family in a period that has been marked by the fight for the health of one of the biggest icons of motorsport for more than 10 years.
