This is the Iranian government’s most direct response to its nuclear program, following attacks by Israel and the US in June.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araghchi, stated this Sunday (16) that the country is no longer enriching uranium anywhere in its territory.
This is the most direct response yet from the Iranian government regarding its nuclear program, after it bombed supposed uranium enrichment sites in June.
“There is no undeclared nuclear enrichment in Iran. All of our facilities are under the safeguards and monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” Araghchi said.
“We have this right and continue to exercise it, and we hope that the international community, including the United States, recognizes our rights and understands that this is Iran’s inalienable right.”
