The richness of vitamins and minerals makes it an important element of the diet to prevent deficiencies. In turn, the active substances contained in plum juice protect the body against, among others, atherosclerosis and osteoporosis.

It is estimated that there are over 6,000 thousand. plum varieties. Poland is one of the leading producers of these fruits in Europe. During the season, i.e. at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, you can buy them at the market stall at really bargain prices. This encourages eating them raw and making preserves.

Of course, you can make plums into a sweet spread that tastes great on a sandwich or in a snack. They are perfect for compotes or jams. For the winter, you can make plums in syrup or dry them to concentrate what is most valuable in them. Following the fashion of the 19th century, you can prepare slivovitz from them, however, plum juice will be much healthier.

  • prevents constipation and regulates the bowel movement.

We also cannot forget about the wealth of antioxidants contained in plums. These are primarily polyphenols that neutralize the effects of free radicals protect against many chronic diseases.

Plum juice is recommended to everyone who cares about their health. It should be included in the diet of people with high cholesterol, at risk of osteoporosis or problems with bowel movements. It is recommended for older people who are particularly vulnerable to osteoporosis or cardiovascular diseases.

High fiber content, especially in puree juices, is not recommended for people with intestinal diseases. It may cause gas and bloating in some people.
