Russian drones attack again: They damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure

Russian drones on Sunday night damaged residential buildings and civil infrastructure in Ukraine, including a solar power plant in the Odesa region. Moscow sent to its territory in total 176 drones, with 37 hitting their target in 14 locations across Ukraine. Russia also announced that its forces occupied the villages of Rivnopilľa and Mala Tokmacka in the Zaporozhye region. TASR informs about it according to the DPA agency.

The governor of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, reported on Telegram that drones damaged one of the solar power plants in the region. The published photos show a large number of fallen, broken and punctured solar panels.

Since the beginning of the war in February 2022, Russia has been systematically attacking the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. Moscow justifies this tactic by saying that the electricity produced it is used by the Ukrainian arms industry in energy plants. Ordinary Ukrainians therefore suffer from frequent power outages, and in some cases even water and heating supplies fail.
