The former president () was honored last Friday (14) at a lunch by the Association of Former Students of the Faculty of Law, in São Paulo.
He was included in a mural that brings together 12 other former presidents who studied at the institution. The event was attended by, among others, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of the TSE.
The tribute to Temer by the institution, which brings together former students of the traditional college, is symbolic, especially given the fact that the emedebista’s name aroused resistance in a large part of the college’s body, due to his role in the , in 2016.
The former president also read a poem he wrote especially for the occasion, which says in part: “Ah, if I had known, when I was 18, when I entered the Arcades, that so many years later, I would be president.”
