A quick recipe that anyone can handle
This apple pie is so easy to make in ten minutes. You don’t have to stand with the dough for hours or worry about rising. Just have it on hand and the oven will do the rest.
“It is enough to cut three apples, mix them with a little sugar and cinnamon and mix them into the dough in a few minutes. The cake is ready in no time and smells throughout the apartment,” confirms chef David Šlapák, who prepares this recipe very often.
Quick Apple Pie Recipe
Raw materials:
- 3-4 apples, peeled and cut into small pieces
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 ml of oil
- 150 g plain flour
- 1 baking powder
- a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy, add the oil and mix. Gradually mix in the flour mixed with baking powder and spices. Finally, gently mix the apple pieces into the dough. Pour the mixture into a greased or lined tin and bake for approx. 25-30 minutes, until the cake is golden and a skewer inserted into the center comes out dry.
Tips for a perfect result
If you want to make the cake special, you can add a handful of nuts, raisins or a drop of honey directly to the dough. Sprinkling the surface with powdered sugar after cooling will give the cake the charm of a classic homemade dessert. It goes well with a cup of tea, coffee, or even a little whipped cream if you want a really sweet autumn experience.
Why is this cake so popular?
It’s quick, easy and uses seasonal fruit. You don’t have to prepare anything complicated or wait hours, and still get a fragrant, tender and tasty cake that the whole family will appreciate. And the bonus? It will save the last fruits from your tree that would otherwise end up in fallen leaves.
