The first will not kill most bacteria (they often remain on fabrics), and the second uses too much electricitybecause it requires intensive heating of water by devices. Moreover, it may contribute to destruction. Especially those made of delicate fabrics.
If refreshing clothes at 40 and 90 degrees Celsius is not the best idea, what washing program should you use? It’s best not to overthink it and set it at 30 degrees Celsius.
This is enough to remove sweat and minor dirt that most Poles struggle with every day, and it is cheaper to operate than the above-mentioned 40 degrees Celsius.
Once in a while, e.g. every 2-3 weeks, it won’t hurt to run a washing program at 60 degrees Celsius in the washing machine.which will disinfect the device and help maintain its hygiene. It is also recommended for slightly more problematic stains.
Another thing to keep in mind when washing your clothes in a washing machine is detergents. You should not overdo it so as not to contaminate the device excessively and damage your clothes (cleaning products leave residues). You should also not overload the drum, as this contributes to faster destruction of the device.
