According to the Military Police, the victim was in the living room when he heard a noise and, shortly afterwards, three men entered the residence. One of them wore a mask and another carried an object similar to a gun. The group demanded that she hand over information about the existence of a safe, as well as weapons and jewelry.
The woman was immobilized with duct tape while the suspects collected objects from the house. They fled with R$500 in cash, four gold rings, a chain with four pendants, two cell phone chargers — one from Apple and the other from Samsung — as well as a box of jewelry. The victim’s car, a Honda HR-V EX CVT, license plates QIK-0640, was also taken by the robbers.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on the banks of the Ivo Silveira highway. The area was isolated for forensic work.
So far, none of those involved have been located. The Military Police continue to search the region.
