The leader of the PT in the Chamber, Lindbergh Farias (RJ), will formalize to the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), a request to replace deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP) as rapporteur of the PL Antifaction. The information was released by Folha de S. Paulo.
For the PT member, the successive changes made by Derrite — there are now four versions of the report — made the text “unusable” and deepened the political impasse surrounding the proposal, according to the newspaper.
According to Lindbergh, the changes presented so far do not resolve sensitive issues and still create new problems for the government, the center and even sectors of the opposition.

He cites, as an example, the provision on widespread loss of assets and the risk of withdrawal of resources from the Federal Police identified in the most recent opinion. “He created confusion. It was a huge lack of legislative technique,” he said. “It’s difficult to save the project after four versions. Will a fifth come?”
In the face of resistance, the PT leader defends that Hugo Motta appoints a new “consensus” rapporteur, preferably someone from the center, as an alternative to unlocking the process. For him, this may be the only way out to prevent the project from remaining paralyzed.
“The text, as it stands, cannot be used. I think it can no longer be saved. It would be an important sign to choose someone capable of unifying and removing the issue from the impasse.”
There is still no name suggested by the PT to take over as rapporteur, but Lindbergh states that he will present the request to replace Motta in the coming days.
