The presenter was hospitalized this weekend after undergoing a check-up at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in the city of São Paulo. During the examination, viral pneumonia without symptoms was discovered, according to a statement by Letícia Bueno to Portal Leo Dias, Flavio Ricco’s column, this Monday (17). According to the communicator’s daughter, Galvão, aged 75, is responding well to treatment and “will soon be active again”.
According to the portal, the narrator was sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but he had already left the unit after responding well to treatment and was taken to a room.
