Did Robinho leave Tremembé?
According to “G1”, former player Robinho was transferred this Monday morning (11/17) from Penitentiary II of Tremembé for the Limeira Resocialization Centerin the interior of São Paulo.
The change would have been made by Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration (SAP)although the folder has not yet officially explained the reasons.
The transfer follows a request from the defense, made at the end of October, in which the lawyers argued that Robinho has good behavior, with no disciplinary offenses, and suggested three units for relocation: Bragança Paulista, Limeira and Rio Claro. The city of Limeira was chosen.

Can Robinho still get out of prison?
Robinho is serving his sentence 9 years after conviction for gang rape in Italy. Since April 2024, Robinho’s lawyers have been trying to reduce the sentence imposed by the Italian courts. They filed a motion for clarification, a type of appeal that seeks to clarify or correct points in the court decision – such as possible omissions, obscurities or contradictions.
The appeal has already been postponed twice – it was initially on the Special Court’s agenda in March and then in May 2025. Now, it will be on August 6th. The decision could open space for a review of the sentence or maintain the sentence determined by the Italian Court. Is Robinho still playing?
Robinho’s retirement was confirmed in an article on the website “Uol”, published in July 2022. In a WhatsApp message from Robinho to the website’s reporter, who was in Santos (SP) to find out how the player’s routine was going, he wrote: “I don’t play anymore, leave me alone”.
Robinho’s last club was Santos, in a spell that began on October 10, 2020 and ended six days later, facing pressure from fans, advisors and sponsors.
