A JBS said on Friday night (17) that its joint venture with Mantiqueira AlimentosMantiqueira USA, signed an agreement to buy the egg producer Hickman’s Egg Ranch in the United States, without giving financial details about the operation.
As communicated to the market, the company said that the purchase should be completed before the end of the year.
“The acquisition represents a significant milestone for Mantiqueira USA in its long-term strategy to build a strong and scalable presence in the United States egg market,” he said.
Hickman’s Egg Ranch is one of the 20 largest egg companies in the United States, he added.
