Lurian Cordeiro Lula da Silva, eldest daughter of the president (PT), was discharged this Monday (17), from a hospital in Niterói, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio, where she was admitted after feeling ill over the weekend. According to sources close to the family, she was admitted to the unit on Saturday. The journalist, who also coordinates the PT’s Human Rights area in Sergipe, sought care after feeling severe discomfort in her chest resulting from an “emotional shock” on Saturday. Referred to the cardiology sector, she underwent a specialized evaluation. The condition is considered stable and Lurian is doing well.

So far, President Lula has not yet publicly commented on his daughter’s hospitalization. Lurian is the president’s firstborn and sister of Luis Claudio, Fábio Luiz, Sandro Luis and Marcos Claudio.
