Santos became champion of the Campeonato Paulista U20 this Sunday (16), by defeating São Paulo on penalties at the Nogueirão Stadium, in Mogi das Cruzes. The black and white club sought a 3-3 draw in normal time, after losing 3-0.
At an overwhelming pace, Tricolor scored three goals in 36 minutes, with midfielder Lucca (twice) and full-back Igor Felisberto. Before the end of the first, defender João Ananias scored with a header and reduced the score in favor of Peixe.
In the final stage, midfielder Bernardo Paias and João Ananias scored the goals that led to penalties. A shot saved by goalkeeper Rodrigo Falcão and another hit the crossbar defined the state title.
