Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk claims that the explosion was intended to destroy the train

The explosion damaged the rails on the track near Warsaw.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported on Monday on the X network that the explosion that damaged the rails on the line near Warsaw was probably intended to blow up a train on the Warsaw-Deblin route. The Warsaw correspondent TASR informs about it.

“Fortunately, there was no tragedy, but the matter is very serious,” declared the Prime Minister. According to him, a similar situation occurred on the same track further south towards the city of Lublin. “Unfortunately, there is no doubt that we are dealing with deliberate action, with an act of diversion,” Tusk concluded.

Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, according to the PAP agency, ordered the army to check the 120-kilometer section of the railway leading from the city of Hrubieszow to the border with Ukraine.
