During his participation in the Taty Girl’s Chestheld last Saturday (15/11), in Fortaleza, the singer Sylvania Aquino opened his heart to the LeoDias portal about his sudden departure from the band Black Pantiesafter 25 years of experience. The artist reinforced that the decision did not come from her and marked the moment as the end of an important cycle.
“I make it clear here that I did not leave. It was not my choice not to be in Calcinha Preta anymore. What happened was that one cycle ended there and another begins here”, stated the singer.

Silvânia highlighted the affection she has for the band that marked her history:
“My life is inside. It was 25 years in which I was very happy, I made many friends. I thank the fans and all the communication. But it ended.”
Now in a solo career, the artist said that the definitions of her next steps will be officially announced:
“Monday (17/11) we’ll sort everything out. I still can’t say much.”
No rivalry and no regrets
When asked about possible disagreements within the band, Silvânia denied any friction:
“Of course! I have no rivalry or problem with anyone. A band is a family, and as a family you don’t wake up every day kissing everyone, it’s a fact. But I don’t have a problem with anyone in there.”
For her, the rumors that circulated may have been attempts to divert the focus from the real issue:
“Maybe they tried to create another narrative, perhaps to divert the subject ‘Silvânia left’”, he commented.
