Sinner defends title at the ATP Finals in a two-set thriller against Alcaraz


Turin – With his third title en suite after Vienna and Paris, Jannik Sinner was crowned winner of the ATP Finals of the eight best tennis players of the year for the second time on Sunday. The 24-year-old Italian won the final in Turin against world number one Carlos Alcaraz 7:6(4), 7:5 after 2:15 hours. In the head-to-head with the Spaniard, Sinner shortened the lead to 6:10. Sinner is therefore undefeated in front of his own audience at the “Masters” at the end of the season.
